ABOUT ME

A Career Guided by Knowledge

My path to becoming a dog educator began in 2012 when I decided to embark on a journey of academic study in this field.
I was driven by a profound curiosity about dog behaviour, communication, and the intricate dynamics of the dog-human relationship.

This decision marked the start of my quest for knowledge and expertise in this fascinating domain.
I graduated as a dog educator in 2014 at SIUA (School for Human-Animal Interaction founded and directed by the well-known Italian ethologist Roberto Marchesini). My connection to dogs and rescue work goes beyond my profession. It's personal. I had the privilege of volunteering at an Italian shelter where I met and adopted my two wonderful dogs Kiki and Anna Punk.

In 2017 and 2018 I attended the course for dog instructors at the 6Zampe School.

A fundamental part of my training was guided by an internship at David Morettini's “Dimmi chi sei“ (workshops that study the interaction between owners and their dogs) that I was lucky enough to be part of for many years.

Today, as the founder of LonDogs Crew, I've melded my Italian heritage, my love for dogs, and my academic pursuits into a business dedicated to enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners. LonDogs Crew offers a range of exceptional services, all grounded in the principles of knowledge and respect.

SERVICES

Consulting for the Dog-Human Relationship

Every dog is unique, with its own personality, needs, and communication style. Likewise, every owner has their individual lifestyle, expectations, and challenges. My consulting process begins by deeply understanding both sides of the relationship. We take the time to get to know your dog, their behaviours, preferences, and any specific issues or concerns you may have. We also listen carefully to your needs, goals, and any challenges you face in your interactions with your canine companion.

Once we have a comprehensive understanding of your dog and your relationship, we craft tailored solutions designed to address your specific situation. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches because each dog-human pair is unique. Whether you're dealing with behavioural problems, communication issues, or simply want to strengthen your bond, we create a personalised plan to meet your goals.

Dog Walking

• Structured Small Groups
To maintain a safe and enjoyable experience, I organise our dog walks in structured small groups. This allows for correct social interaction, mental stimulation and a sense of belonging to a group while ensuring a safe context.
• Solo training walk
As an experienced dog educator, I'm delighted to introduce this specialised service designed exclusively for dogs with special needs. I work closely with your dog to address any issues, employing positive reinforcement techniques and tailored training strategies to support positive behaviour.
• Woodland Adventure Fridays
On Fridays we go on a trip to discover new places surrounded by nature. Offer your dog the opportunity to spend half the day exploring, sniffing and playing with friends.

Mobility Dog

Consists of non-competitive activities aimed at improving the integration of dogs into urban society.
The Mobility Dog obstacle course can be created within urban areas, using steps, poles, bike stands etc., or in rural environments where logs, trees, rocks and any other suitable obstacle nature has to offer become our tools. This activity can significantly improve the human-pet mate team’s quality of life, allowing for more effective management of dogs in our environment, whilst strengthening the dog-human bond. The obstacle course is fun for dogs and humans alike, promotes dogs’ emotional balance and well-being and can become an integral part of the human-pet mate team’s journey.
It has multiple beneficial effects on the team: it increases self-esteem, decreases hyperactivity, improves communication skills.
Since Mobility Dog sharpens the dog’s focus and lessens insecurity, it tends to reduce the likelihood of occurrence of behavioural problems (such as reactivity or aggression).
